Quality Policy
Plasma Technology Incorporated, a provider of plasma coating services, is committed to meeting customer requirements and increasing customer satisfaction through adherence to and continual improvement of our Quality Management System. Continual improvements include our products, processes, services, availability of resources, and our communication. This requires the commitment of both our employees and our suppliers.
Confilict-Free Materials Policy
Consistent with the spirit and intent of the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform & Consumer Protection Act, Plasma Technology Inc. makes every effort to ensure that none of the metals used in their coatings come from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries. Plasma Technology Inc. works with its suppliers to identify the links in its supply chain and confirm that the powders and products do not contain any conflict minerals sourced from the conflict region.
Plasma Technology Inc. is aware that this policy of avoiding conflict minerals may affect the supply chain with a potential impact on delivery schedules, but is committed to maintaining the highest standard of ethics and social responsibility. Plasma Technology Inc. will not support the exploitation and the trade of conflict minerals whose profits help finance the violence and suffering in the eastern DRC and surrounding countries.
The conflict minerals are mined in the eastern DRC and often smelted or refined in the surrounding countries and include coltan (niobium and tantalum), cassiterite (tin), wolframite (tungsten) and gold. Plasma Technology Inc. is ever vigilant to ensure the metals used in its coatings, including tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold, are not derived from conflict minerals. Plasma Technology Inc. has enlisted the aid of its suppliers to ensure no materials from the conflict region are used in its products and services and requests annual written confirmation from its vendors that materials supplied to Plasma Technology Inc. are conflict free.
Plasma Technology Inc. will continue to comply with the spirit and intent of Dodd Frank and the United Nations Resolutions. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact Steve Norris at 310-320-3373, or by email at s.norris@ptise.com.
